The Scientific Memorial Museum of Professor N. E. Zhukovsky is open to everyone who wants to plunge into the world of discoveries and great achievements on the way to realizing a man’s daring dream of flying in airspace and overcoming gravity.
The updated exposition and new exhibitions of the museum reveal pages from the life of the “father of Russian aviation” Nikolai Egorovich Zhukovsky and those outstanding people who stood at the origins of aviation, created aviation science, tested new designs and engines of airplanes, gyroplanes, helicopters, rockets and other flying machines.
The museum gives an opportunity to recall the pages of great history and the real embodiment of the famous words of N. E. Zhukovsky: “A man will fly, relying not on the strength of his muscles, but on the strength of his mind.”
